The British feature film 'The Uprising' delivers a gripping and immersive story of rebellion and resistance, as it follows a re-telling of the 1381 Peasants' Revolt. Directed by Paul Greengrass and Starring Andrew Garfield.
Vine FX supported the production with high-end VFX work, creating authentic and grounded visuals that complemented the film’s medieval tone. Our work included CG arrows, crowd extension, blood FX, digital matte paintings, as well as location enhancements and set extensions. A range of detailed clean-up and rotoscope work supported with helped maintain the realism of each scene, seamlessly integrating the VFX into the film’s world.
