The BBC’s new sci-fi sitcom 'Ann Droid' delivers a brilliant blend of deadpan humour and poignant storytelling. Co-written by and starring Diane Morgan, the six-part series follows a cynical widow named Sue who is forced to live with Linda, a secondhand elderly care robot gifted by her son. Produced by Boffola Pictures and Witchcraft Industries, the series boasts an impressive comedic cast. Alongside Morgan’s perfectly rigid, socially inept portrayal of the humanoid bot.
